As COVID protocol cannot be enforced in hostels, and everyone will be on risk in doing so, university has given option for students in Kasargode, Kannur and Wayanad districts to choose one of the following colleges given below as their examination centre: Kasargod District : 1.Government College, Kasaragod  2.Nehru Arts & Science College, Kanhangad  Kannur District: 1.St Joseph College, Pilathara 2. Sir Syed College, Taliparamba  3. Kannur University Campus, Thavakkara  4. MG College, Iritty  Wayanad District : 1. Mary Matha Arts and Science College, Mananthavady The examinations are likely to be held from 11 am to 2 pm for the students to reach the examination centre on time.  There will also be one day gap for each of the examinations, to give the required time for preparation.  Since the number of options for the change of examination centre is less, students who are able to come and write here in our own  college, should do so.  Those who intend to change the examination centre should give your name officially to your class teacher by 3.30 pm tomorrow, Friday.  Principal will verify the genuineness of the application for the change of examination centre, and those candidates who are eligible will be recommended to the Controller of Examinations for the required arrangements by the university.  Hostels will not be available for stay for examinations.

Dr. Stenza Miss who completed her PhD in English Literature from the Central University, Shillong, will be Incharge of MA English Literature from today.  Stenza Miss was working here earlier as incharge of BA English Literature and was teaching MA English Literature students.  We thank Deepa Miss for being Incharge of MA English so far. She will continue in the Department.  We also thank Sr. Mercy FMA who is on transfer. We appreciate her for her sincere service in the last two years.

IQAC of Don Bosco Arts & Science College organised 'Workshop on Academic Mentoring' on March 6,2021 for the Staff.


Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu is now on NAAC mode. Imploring God’s blessings, the final step in the accreditation process was taken, submitting the Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA) to NAAC successfully. After the acceptance of IIQA by NAAC, the Self Study Report (SSR), with the required documents will have to be uploaded in the portal of NAAC website within 45 days. The data submitted on Quantitative Metrics will be subjected to Data Validation and Verification (DVV) process by NAAC. The responses to Qualitative Metrics will be reviewed by the Peer Team on site visit. Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) will be conducted by NAAC simultaneously with DVV process. The SSS questionnaire will be e-mailed to all students. Peer Team Visit to the college will be the final stage of NAAC accreditation process. Being in the most crucial stage of the accreditation process, I earnestly request the prayers and the support of parents, students and staff. Our appeal to God is to gift us the Grade we deserve ........


Fr. Rapson from the Retreat Centre, Avila Sadan, Edoor blessed the area demarcated for the construction of Sneha Veedu for a deserving family at Edoor. The land for the construction of Sneha Veedu was offered by Avila Sadan. Fr. Dr. Kuriakose Pallikunnel, Head, Department of Psychology, addressed the gathering. NSS programme officer Jisha E, Assistant Professor, Department of English, coordinated the ceremony. NSS volunteers and well-wishers graced the occasion. The Department of Journalism’s march, widening the spectrum of recognitions and awards, is on fast pace.... One of the most popular YouTube channels among the Keralites ‘Come on Everybody’ is recognised officially today and raised to the top, with its anchors Pinchu and Sachin winning the best couple vlogger award from 24, a leading 24-hour news channel in Malayalam. Pinchu and Sachin were MCJ students of Don Bosco Arts & Science College seven years ago. Pinchu was also a Faculty in the Department of Journalism here for two years. We feel proud of Sachin and Pinchu.

The saga of best placement of MA Journalism students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College in the mainstream media continues... Abel Babu, currently pursuing his MA Journalism here, is appointed as a broadcast journalism trainee in Media One Channel, after clearing the written test and interview.  Congratulations, Abel. 


The offline classes in the college for First Year BSc Psychology Students will be held from February 22 Monday to March 12, Friday. The offline classes in the college for the Second Year BSc Psychology Students will be held from February 22 Monday to March 5, Friday. Their study leave will be from March 6 to March 14. The latest COVID negative certificate and the consent letter of the parent, should be submitted to the class teacher for entry in the classroom. The consent letter form is to be collected from the class teacher.

Seven Students Secure First Class..It was an amazing performance from the part of the second year MA English Literature students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College, in the Second Semester University Examinations. Through their hard work, determination, and perseverance, with the caring personal follow-up of the teachers, and with the blessings from God, the pass percentage was brought up to 93.3%.  Though MA English Literature is a PG Programme, for which the University Toppers normally secure marks below 70 %, seven of them could score above 60%. Anagha Nambiar  - 67%, Sandra Manoj - 66.50%, Gifty Treesa Jose - 64.75%, Stiniya Raj - 64.50%, Aiswarya Dominic - 64.25%, Anand Jacob - 61.25%, Amurtha K - 60% .
