Students from MA English, Department of English visited MARILLAC BHAVAN Madathil, an old age home as part of their extension service.


Computer Department of Don Bosco Arts & Science College Angadikadavu organises Old Age Home Visit at Marillac Bhavan, madathil as part of their Out reach Programme. The visit will be on 18-03-2022.


NSS units 47 & 72 organised a CYCLE RALLY to Sneha Bhavan an old age home located at Charal, a nearby village. NSS staff coordinators Jisha and Nidhin Kuttan P K guided the rally. NSS volunteers cleaned the premises of the old age home and intracted with the destitutes.


NSS units 47 & 72 of Don Bosco Arts & Science College Organized a Free Ayurveda Medical Camp at the Ayyankunnu Panchayat Hall on 11 March 2022. The camp was inaugurated by Shri. Kuriachan Paimkilikunnel, Ayankkunnu Panchyat President. Mini Vishwanathan, standing committee chairman presided over the function and Smt. Jisha E NSS Programme Officer felicitated. Dr. Linta George, Dr. Aswathy and Dr. Rathika P, Medical Officers at Ayyankkunu Ayurveda Dispensary, were the doctors available for consultation. The medical canp was held to diagnose and treat post-covid symptoms and to provide ayurveda medicines. Around 50 patients were present for the camp.

DonBosco NSS units 47&72 conducted a day workshop with Field Out Reach Bureau, Kannur sector. At 10.30, the Inauguration was done by the Angadikadavu Panchayat President, Sri. Kuriachan Paimbally Kunnel. Sri. K. S. Baburahj, Field Publicity Secretary introduced the functions and aims of workshop and Sri. Biju Mathew, Field Publicity Officer Kannur Sector, welcomed the gathering. Anadhu K. S delivered vote of thanks for the official function. Just after the Inauguration a session was arranged on the topic ' Yoga for Post Covid Life care.' Smt. Sheela Janardhanan, Yoga instructor, Ayush Mission Kannur handled the class. Next session was taken by Dr. Shilpa Rajan, specialist Medical Officer, Kannur Ayurveda Hospital. The session 's topic was 'Ayurveda for Handling Post Covid issues '. After noon seesion was a mesmorizing event by Jwala Theaters, Payyanur. The famous but a perishing art form 'Villadichan Pattu ' presented by the artists including their creativity of adding satirical dialogues in between the Pattu presentation. Sri Biju Mathew, Field Publicity Officer,Kannur sector, Sri. K. S. Baburaj, Field Publicity Secretary, and the Principal Rev. Fr. Francis Karackat were present in the function.Around 60 volunteers were participated in the workshop and Smt. Jisha. E, Programme Officer thanked the gathering at the end.


The Two days National Conference held on 4th and 5th March 2022 on the theme of "Social work Education & Practice during COVID 19 Pandemic". It was inaugurated by The Renowned Social Worker Daya Bhai. Fr Prasanth Pallakkappally, Dr.Ipe Varghese general secretary of KAPS were Present in the Seminar. Mr Vipin K.J and Ms.Aneesha were the faculty supervisors of the Conference.


DISA in Association with Nature Club, NSS & Jesus Youth introducing Cycles to the College Campus. More than ten cycles are available in the campus for the use of students.
