In the Intercollegiate Management Fest held at M.G. College, Iritty on Tuesday January 30, 2018, Emily Maria from Third Year BBA (2015-18) was declared the BEST MANAGER, winning a cash prize of Rs.10,000.


Winning another gold medal in power lifting university level championship held at SN College, Kannur on Thursday, January 18, 2018, Ajal George from Third Year B.Com Computer Application has brought laurels to Don Bosco Arts & Science College.


The University level Intercollegiate Tug-of-War Tournament will be held at Don Bosco Arts & Science College Campus on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. About 25 colleges affiliated to the University of Kannur are likely to participate in the tournament. Adv. Sunny Joseph MLA, representing Peravoor Constituency will inaugurate the tournament. Dr. P.T. Joseph, Director of Physical Education, will preside over the function. The people of the locality, the students from neighbouring schools and the staff and students from Don Bosco will be present, enthusing and fuelling the pulling spirit of the men and women teams participating in the tournament. The students from Vikas Bhavan Edoor, the centre for the rehabilitation of the retarded children are also brought to the campus to be part of this most entertaining sports event. Nithin P.K. Sir, the Physical Education Director and Biju John Sir, the College Union Advisor, Muhammad Ummair, the College Union Chairman, Anju Sebastian, College Union Vice-Chairperson, and Christo James, College Union General Captain are on the forefront to make the tournament colourful and memorable for all.


In the Intercollegiate Business Quiz held at Sir Sayeed College, Taliparamba on January 11, 2018, and at Nava Jyothi College, Cherupuzha on January 12, 2018, Alan Vincent and Augustine Joshy from Third Year BCom Computer Application (2015-18) won the second prize. They received certificates, mementos and a cash prize of Rs. 6,500/-


Adding another feather to the cap of Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu, Anjumol Benny from Third Year BA English Literature is now in Kerala team for the National Tug-of-War tournament to be held in Patiala, Punjab next week.


In the interdepartmental chess tournament held here, Jomin Mathew from BCom Cooperation First Year and Anju Mol Mathew from BSc Mathematics First Year were declared champions among boys and girls respectively. Akhil Emmanuel from BSc Mathematics Second Year and Athira K.M. from MCJ Second Year won the second prize. The third place was for Shamal Joseph (MCom Second Year), Augustin Joseph (BCom Cooperation First year) and Sreelakshmi (BBA Third Year).


Another major recognition for Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu. Anju Mol Benny from BA English Literature Third Year and Shaniya P.J. from BCA Second year are selected to be in the Kerala State Tug-of-War team.


Mareena K. Sabu from BSW Second Year is selected to be part of Kannur University team for the South Zone Interuniversity Table Tennis Championship in Chennai.


In the interdepartmental basketball tournament held here, BBA students had an emphatic victory over BA English Literature students. The score was 50 –34. The top scorer was Ebin Devasia from BA English Literature Third Year and the best player was Mathew Vince Vinoy from BBA Third Year. In the loser’s’ final, BCom Computer Applications defeated BSc-BCA students and secured the third place.


Industrial Development Officer, Bhaskaran P. took a session on ‘Opportunities for Students to Grab Government Entrepreneur Projects’ for the members of the Entrepreneur Club in the seminar hall on Wednesday, December 20, 2018. Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat inaugurated the programme. Entrepreneur Club Staff Coordinator Roshni P.K. presided over the function. Industrial Development Officer from Iritty, Sarath Sasidharan welcomed the gathering.


In the interdepartmental Christmas cultural programme competition held on Friday, December 22, 2017, the BSW students from the Department of Social Work won the championship, with their enthralling show punctuated with music, dance and action. The second prize was for BCom Cooperation, and the third place was for BCom Computer Application. The rousing reception to Santa Claus by BCom Computer Application students made the Christmas gathering a thrilling experience for all, with their alluring music and tantalizing steps. The exquisite stage prepared by the BCA students added professionalism to the celebrations.


In the University Level Intercollegiate Athletics Meet held at School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Mangattuparamba on 25th and 26th November 2017, Tryson Augustine from Third Year B.Com Co-operation (2015-18) made Don Bosco Arts & Science College proud winning the gold medal in Decathlon and being selected as the best all-round athlete of Kannur University.


In the University Level Intercollegiate Athletics Meet held at School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Mangattuparamba on 25th and 26th November 2017, Ajith A.S. from Third Year B.Com Computer Application (2015-18) made Don Bosco Arts & Science College proud winning the silver medal in 20 kilometer walk.


In the University Level Intercollegiate Athletics Meet held at School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Mangattuparamba on 25th and 26th November 2017, Preethi Joseph from Third Year BSW (2015-18) made Don Bosco Arts & Science College proud winning the silver medal in Paul Vault.
