Kannur University published the II Semester PG result. Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College comes out with flying colours in the Examinations


Shilpa Pradeep , III UG BCom Cooperation student of Don Bosco Arts & Science College won the Best NSS Volunteer Award -2022-23


Sri. Nithinkuttan P K, Asst. Prof. Don Bosco Arts & Science College Angadikadavu, won the Best NSS Programme officer Award for the Academic year -2022-23.


NSS Unit-47 is selected as the best NSS unit for the academic year 2022-23.


A Seminar was conducted for the Final Year UG Students by IQAC & EDROOTS, on 06-11-2023.


College Magazine From Don Bosco Arts & Science College was Selected as third Best College Magazine. The Award was organised by Mary Matha Arts & Science College Mananthavady.


The college Union 2023-24 is organising a Quiz Series on THE HINDU Newspaper. The quiz will be conducted on every Thursday. Two students from each department will participate in the event.


The College Union 2023-2024 was inaugurated on 27-10-2023 by Mr. Baby George, leader, Kannur Squad Police investigation team and inspirational hero for the Blockbuster Malayalam Movie "Kannur Squad"'. Mr. Mathew Joseph, member of Kannur Squad was also present for the function. Kalamandalam Dr. Sheeba Krishnakumar, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award winner, performed Mohiniyattam during the ceremony. College principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat presided over the function and Fr. Dr. Bastin Nellissery blessed the function. Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat initiated the new leaders by administering the oath. Nelvin Mathew Shiju the college union chairman delivered his maiden address. PTA representatives Mr. Mathewkutty Panthamplackal and Mrs. Mercy Maria felicitated the function. Union advisor Ms Sindhu P M the union advisor officially welcomed the gathering and the general secretary Archana KK delivered vote of thanks.


DREAM Kannur, in collaboration with the Excise department, Vimukthi mission, and Peravoor constituency, organized a drug awareness campaign and workshop on addiction prevention and related laws. The Director of DISA, Fr. Sojan Pananchickal SDB, warmly welcomed the dignitaries to the event. The function was presided over by Mr. Rajaneesh V. CI, Iritty Excise department, and officially inaugurated by Adv. Sunny Joseph MLA, who also released the DREAM booklet. Mr. Kuriyachan Paimpallikkunnel, Panchayat President, Ayyankunn, felicitated the program, while Mr. Sujith Thillankeri, Coordinator Vimukthi Mission, and Mr. K.J Jose, Counsellor Don Bosco Arts and Science College, were also present. The session was handled by Mr. Sreejith K, Civil Excise officer Iritty. Mr. Shijo Joseph, District Coordinator DREAM, conveyed the vote of thanks to the dignitaries and audience. To raise awareness against drug usage, students from the Social Work department performed a flashmob and street play.


Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat released the newsletter "SWAD" by Department of Social Work. This newsletter offers a glimpse into the meaningful endeavors of the department, showcasing impactful projects, research, and the unwavering commitment of the students and faculty.


The Department of Social Work hosted a celebration for World Mental Health Day. The program inaugurated by Fr. Francis Karakkatt, the college principal. Fr. Sojan PANACHICKAL, the Head of the Social Work Department, delivered the presidential address, while the keynote speaker was Fr. Kuriakose, the Head of the Psychology Department. Asst.Prof Bony talked about the importance of World mental health day, and Mr. Jose, the counselor, along with a student representative, also delivered talks. Additionally, the department celebrated the birthday of Mr. Bony, one of the faculty members.


Department of Psychology is conducting a certificate course in Counselling Psychology for the general public. Around 40 people from different fields are attending the course. The programme was Inaugurated by Mr. Kuriachan Paimbillikunnel, President, Ayyankunnu Gram Panchayath on 11-09-2023.


NSS units 47& 72 along with Nature Club of Don Bosco Arts & Science College conducted a "RAIN WALK" for the members. This programme was conducted to increase the bond between the students and to know the nature.


Blood donation camp was organised at Don Bosco Arts & Science College Angadikadavu by Thalassery General Hospital & NSS units on 23-08-2023. The programme was conducted under the guidance of College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat NSS Programme officers Fr. Jojo & Mrs. Jainy N George.


Kannur University declared the results of MA Journalism and Mass Communication. Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College secured first nine ranks with 100% result.
