World Environment Day was observed at Don Bosco Arts & Science College by the NCC in association with NSS Units 47 and 72. The event featured Ayyankunnu Panchayat President Sri. Kuriachan Paimpallikunnel as the chief guest. Distinguished attendees included Havildar Pawan Kumar and BHM Uday Pratap Singh from the NCC battalion, College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat, NSS Program Officers Ms. Jainy George and Mr. Amit Varma, and UNO Mr. Sanju P.J. During the event, saplings were distributed to students and staff.


The Academic Year 2024 was officially inaugurated in a distinguished ceremony held at St. Dominic Savio Hall. The event was graced by Manager Fr. Dr. Joy Ullattil, Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat, Vice Principal Fr. Cinto Jose, and Vice Principal Mr. Kevinson Kurian. The interfaith prayer service was led by Fr. Cinto Jose and featured students from various religious backgrounds reciting quotes from the Bhagavad Gita, the Quran, and the Holy Bible. Students and faculty members gathered with great enthusiasm to mark the beginning of the new academic session. The ceremony featured a welcome address that set a positive tone for the year ahead. During the key-note address, Principal introduced the new staffs for various departments in the college and highlighted the college's mission and vision, reinforcing their commitment to academic integrity, community engagement, and the holistic development of students. The event underscored the college's dedication to fostering an environment of excellence, collaboration, and growth, setting a promising foundation for the academic year.
