Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College comes out with flying colours in the IV Semester BCA Examinations

Four Year U G Programme was inaugurated in the college on 01 July 2024. Programme was Inaugurated by The Panchayat President Shri. Kuriachan Paimpallykunnel. College Principal Fr.Dr. Francis Karackat presided the function. Manager Fr.Dr. Joy Ullattil officially Welcomed the gathering and College Union Representative Sneha James delivered a note of gratitude. Mr. Hebin Layola, the college FYUGP Coordinator gave an elaborate description of the various courses and pathways the parents & the students. College Vice-Principals Fr. Cinto Jose & Kevinson Kurian, College Chairman Nelvin Shiju, College and Magazine Editor Satvika Premjith felicitated the gathering.

1 July, 2024 will be observed as Vijnanolsavam by the Government of Kerala, to welcome the students into Four Year UG Programme.

Physical Education Department in association with NSS & NCC organised a penalty shoot-out to make awareness about Drug Abuse among the Students

In Celebration of International Yoga Day, Department of Physical Education, NCC & NSS jointly organized Yoga Mass Demonstration on 21-06-2024. The Programme was inaugurated by Fr. Dr. Joy Ullattil, The College Manager. Six students from College Yoga Team Demonstrated Yoga to the students. Above sixty students participated the event.

NSS units 47 & 72 Organized a Blood Donation Camp in association with General Hospital Thalassery on 14-06-2024. The Camp was inaugurated by College Principal fr. Dr. Francis Karackat. Dr. Vipina Valsaraj, Assistant Surgeon, Government General Hospital Thalasserry addressed the camp.Around 48 students donated the blood.

World Environment Day was observed at Don Bosco Arts & Science College by the NCC in association with NSS Units 47 and 72. The event featured Ayyankunnu Panchayat President Sri. Kuriachan Paimpallikunnel as the chief guest. Distinguished attendees included Havildar Pawan Kumar and BHM Uday Pratap Singh from the NCC battalion, College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat, NSS Program Officers Ms. Jainy George and Mr. Amit Varma, and UNO Mr. Sanju P.J. During the event, saplings were distributed to students and staff.

The Academic Year 2024 was officially inaugurated in a distinguished ceremony held at St. Dominic Savio Hall. The event was graced by Manager Fr. Dr. Joy Ullattil, Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat, Vice Principal Fr. Cinto Jose, and Vice Principal Mr. Kevinson Kurian. The interfaith prayer service was led by Fr. Cinto Jose and featured students from various religious backgrounds reciting quotes from the Bhagavad Gita, the Quran, and the Holy Bible. Students and faculty members gathered with great enthusiasm to mark the beginning of the new academic session. The ceremony featured a welcome address that set a positive tone for the year ahead. During the key-note address, Principal introduced the new staffs for various departments in the college and highlighted the college's mission and vision, reinforcing their commitment to academic integrity, community engagement, and the holistic development of students. The event underscored the college's dedication to fostering an environment of excellence, collaboration, and growth, setting a promising foundation for the academic year.

Prior to the commencement of the academic year, a formal event was held to introduce and initiate new staff members and to plan the academic year. The gathering was graced by Manager Fr. Dr. Joy Ullattil, Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat, Vice Principal Fr. Cinto Jose, Vice Principal Mr. Kevinson Kurian, and Administrator Fr. Fidel Thachil. The new skilled and experienced staff members for various departments, were introduced to the existing faculty. In addition to planning for the upcoming academic year, discussions encompassed the college's mission and vision, academic integrity, staff council meetings, discipline coordination, and fest management.
