National Cadet Corps (NCC)

National Cadet Corps is the largest uniformed youth organization in the world often associated with military training and community service. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. The motto of NCC is ‘Unity and discipline’. The unit belongs to 1 Kerala artillery battery of Kozhikode region, was started in our college in 2022.

The duration of NCC is three years, in which the cadets have to pass the B certificate examination and C certificate examination. They also have to attend two camps which are mandatory. Additional national camps are also held. Grace marks and certificates are provided for them.

The 79th Anniversary of India's Independence Day was celebrated on 15-08-2025. College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat hoisted the flag and received the selute.


NCC unit, in association with General Hospital Thalassery and NSS units 47 & 72 organised a Blood Donation Camp in the College. College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat inaugurated the camp. more than 50 students and staff donated the blood


6(K)BN NCC Thalasserry Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu observed World Environment Day on 05-06-2025.Cadets distributed saplings to the faculty and students of the college . A few saplings were planted in the college campus. Cadets led awareness classes regarding protection of environment to the students
