The Staff from Don Bosco Colleges in Kerala and Karnataka had an intensive National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) training programme at Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu to tailor them for the requirements of the revised accreditation scheme. Dr. Ayyappa Das, Vice-Principal and NAAC Coordinator of RVS College, Coimbatore presented the latest parameters adopted for NAAC accreditation and the guidelines for the proper implementation of the scheme in various sectors of Higher Education. There were 75 Staff Members from Don Bosco Colleges in Angadikadavu, Sulthan Bathery, Mampetta, and Mannuthy in Kerala, and from Yadagiri in Karnataka. It was decided to facilitate and speed up the NAAC accreditation process making the required changes in the existing curriculum, administration and documentation. The Manager of Don Bosco Institutes of Higher Education, Fr. Dr. K.O. Thomas inaugurated the programme. Principal of Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu welcomed the gathering and Principal of Don Bosco College, Angadikadavu, Fr. Dr. Johny Jose delivered the initiation address. Fr. Dr. Jiby Parekulath and Fr. Dr. Joshy Puthur, Principals of Don Bosco Colleges at Mampetta and Yadagiri respectively, were also present for the programme.
